Commissions
Do you take commissions, Julie-Anne?
Yes, I open a limited number of commission slots per year for those who would like a custom piece in my signature watercolor and gouache style.
Commissions are opportunities to create something deeply personal, a collaboration between your story and my brushwork. Availability varies throughout the year, and I only take on projects that align with my artistic approach. (Please note that I don’t reproduce other artists’ work or create pieces outside my style.)
If you’re interested in a tailored piece for your space, I’d be happy to start with a no-obligation conversation. You can reach out through my contact form to share your ideas. I’ll let you know if I can bring your vision to life and provide a detailed quote.
Examples of My Commission Work
-

Leopard Lizard
This commission was conceived from a request to illustrate a desert creature inspired by a couple’s memorable road trip across the American desert. After reviewing several photos of local fauna and flora taken by the couple, I decided to combine a local flower with the familiar leopard lizard, resulting in a unique and captivating creation!

Grenouilles du Québec
This frog artwork was created to celebrate a special someone's birthday. The concept was inspired by their love for frogs and the local flora. Additionally, the numbers 3 and 4 held significant meaning in this person's life, which influenced the composition.
